The third and fourth graders all had
a great Thanksgiving, and hope you did also.
The
month of November was another busy month.
We finished our quilt for the auction before
Thanksgiving. Mrs. Brenda Fieber and Mrs. Esther Taylor cut out the hands and letters for us. Thank You, Mrs. Fieber and Mrs.
Taylor. Mrs. Kris Schnitker came in one morning and helped us tie it together. Thank you, Mrs. Schnitker. Also Thank You to
all the parents who helped lay out the quilt. THANK YOU TO ALL THE PARENTS! We also finished our apple basket for the auction.
Some of the items in the basket are towels, muffin mix, candles, and cookies.
We also made table decorations for the Wurstmarkt, and also ornaments for the town Christmas tree.
Miss. Bachmann’s friend, Karma, visited us one day. She helped us make apple pies. We made the crust and toppings
with Karma’s help. Mrs. Fieber helped us peel the apples and Miss Bachmann helped us cut them up. Thank you, Mrs. Fieber.
In Religion we are learning about God the Father. We learned the First Article and its
meaning for memory work.
In Math the third graders
are starting to learn the basic multiplication facts. They have learned the facts for the 1’s and 10’s. We started
learning the 7’s today.
The fourth grade is reviewing
the basic multiplication facts. They are also learning how to multiply a three or four digit number by a single digit. They
also learned how to read and write big numbers up to billions.
In English we will be learning about pronouns.
In Social
Studies we are learning about the Mountain States.
God’s
blessings to you during this Advent Season.
