Welcome to Trinity Lutheran
School's website! 
Trinity is a tuition-free day school for
the 2011-2012 school year. Located in Hoyleton-Illinois, Trinity currently educates 1st-8th grade students.
A 3 & 4 year old PreK program is also available. Trinity has a long standing reputation of education in the community

Calendar Items:
♦Calling all Alumni of Trinity Lutheran School...In our blessed history
of close to 150 years, we would like to see how many alumni we have. We will need some help to accomplish this. If you
are willing to serve on a committee to gather names and set up a database, please contact the school office. The data base
would be used for sending out at least 2 mailings a year.
♦Lunch Menu: January 30:
Hamburger on Bun, Cheese & Crackers, Carrot Sticks, Pears, Milk January 31: Fish Sticks, Macaroni & Cheese,
Green Beans, Cookie, Milk February 1: Hard Shell Beef Tacos, Lettuce, Cheese, Applesauce, Pudding, Milk February
2: Chicken & Noodles, Rolls, Corn, Peaches, Milk February 3: Hot Dogs, Chips, Peas, Pineapple, Milk
*Market Day orders are due in the school office or online by Tuesday, January 31.
*Boys Basketball:
Hoyleton/Grand Prairie will play Oakdale in the Regional Chamionship Game on Monday, January 30 at 7p.m here at Trinity. Come
and cheer the boys on to a victory!!!
*Girls Basketball: JV Practice on Saturday, January 28 from 1-3p.m at TLS.
The JV Team will be participating in the Ashley Tournament next week. The first game that we will play is on Monday, January
30 at 8p.m.
*Volleyball: A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Sunday, January 29 at 5p.m @ TLS. Practices
will be on January 30 and Feb 1 from 3:30-4:30 (B/C) and 4:30-5:30p.m (A). Effingham Tournament on Saturday, February
4.
 Notes:
•Dive
in and fill the pool!! From January 30 to March 9 we will be having a food drive as part of Lutheran School Week. We have
a plastic pool in the hallway of school that we hope to fill with canned goods. If you would like to help us fill the pool
with canned goods they may be dropped off in the school office or in the pool outside the 7th/8th grade classroom.
•Remember to continue saving your boxtops, campbell labels, and print cartridges. These can be turned into the school
office or the box at the top of the stairs on the school side.
